Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000
By starvinboi83 Fri Apr 01, 2005 8:58 pm
I've sampled diff. instruments into my mpc but now I am running out of sounds to work with. The only instrument besides drums that I have are alot of different trumpets. I want to know where can I go to get a bundle of sounds at one time, Like violins, trombones, any kind of orchestral instruments, guitars etc...

Airybody gave you good info.
A sampler can be anything....but you need to let it record the sounds.
It helps to have lots of records, CDs, videotapes or pre-recorded tv shows to sample from. If you don't, then you can sample from sound modules or keyboards of friends or cop some sample disks and get busy.

Good luck.
