"I've just had trouble with the filters or "eq"."
the filters aren't as deep and intricate as many
people would like them be I've noticed. What
EXACT problems are you having?

"Can you apply an effect to a sound and then
resample it and that effect would be permanently
on that sound when you hit that pad?"
find that function in the xl manual and YOU tell me.
Search the manual for "resample", lemme know what you find.

even though I have the 8 outs and eb16.....it sounds like cats think you can only run effects thru the 8 outs.....you can also run it thru the stereo out........just work with the mixer.....I like the eb16 card......remember 2 of the fx bus are for regular efx and 2 of the fx bus are for efx & filters....

hmmm im confused......when you say regular f/x do u mean the low pass filter in program/params ? i doubt it .... i have the f/x card and the 8 outs - but have only found how to route all the f/x to any 2 of my outs (L/r,1/2,3.........) are you saying i can have the reverb1 on one out the rvrb2 on another and the multi f/x on their own output too??? i cant find the window if this is the case?

thanks ya "knowledge cats" ya!

actually 2 outs would be correct for you...because you are using stereo samples.....if you were using mono joints it would be 1....what I am saying is each efx bus can do something different for your sample.........2 of them have filters, efx and eq while the other 2 just have reverb echo efx...get me?
