MICRO KORG

That's basically all I use mine for...basslines. Every once in a while I'll plug in some other type of ish.

most decent vas are montimbral for that price- get used to it...

Does the micron allow you to plug in external devices to where you can run your 60 or whatever thru it?

The micron and microkorg each have there pros and cons. Its all what you do to it.

anyway the Korg is gay, do u know how small those keys are?
its a kids keyboard with some extra gimmicks, far as I am concerned its not to taking seriously. The Micron is better and I think thats shit too.

Yeah the keys are small but you can just control it from your midi controller. The sounds are dope for sure but to be honest I get just as much bass from my mophatt. The trance and other ish is pretty much useless unless your tryin to make some lil jon type joints. I mean it's fun to toy with but the verdict is out for me. For the money I would rather have another emu I think. Still gonna keep it for now...

the micro korg aint that bad. the only thing wrong with it that it isnt multi timbre which means you have to work. the sounds are dope, the filter and all that edit sh!t iz nice too. i have one so when i get on a roll with i tend to forget that it isnt multi timbre and get pissed. but i think the price iz a little steep for it. the keys aint that much of a problem unless you tryin to ray charles it (which i dont think it was made for). the vocoder is iiight i dont really phuk wit that though.

well if the midi controller has more keys than the korg then it would make perfect sence. i would be dope to have a keyboard with the lorg midi'ed up to it. plus you can ray charles it if thats ya thing.

have you eva experimented with a micro korg to the full extent. if not than you wouldnt kno. you would only use the keys on the bigger midi controller because it makes sense if you have more keys (im not sayin to go get a midi controller for it). it wouldnt make sense to have an extra midi controller and still use the keys on the korg (but then again i might be wrong). everybody sh!ttin on the micro korg when most of you probly went to a store and phukked wit it and dont even own it or a micron. the only thing wrong is its not multitimbre and if thats so much of a problem STOP BEING LAZY. thats the only beef i have with it but the way i see it you dont get sh!t done in life sittin around complaining. other than that i dont fully depend on the microkorg for a whole beat so its really not that much of a problem. the korg iz tight.

On the real man you have to get what's best for you. Everyone has an opinion whether they sampled it at the store or have actually owned one of these boards. Factual research is your friend and it seems like you got caught slippin on your terminology (multi-timbral vs. mono-timbral) but anyway you'll adapt. IMO, both of these keyboards have strong points and weak points but just like any other gear neither one by itself will make you dope! TBH, I know cats that tweak the mess out of Casio sounds and make that ish sound magnificent! To each his own, ya dig!
