i know this aint a mpc question,and i probally asked in the wrong place but its kinda a newb question,OK i installed the Mbox and it wont let me select it in my record section in control panel?? so i cant record at all with my mic..sorry if im in the wrong place but please sumbody help,thnx

Start/Control Panel/Sounds And Audio Devices


then it (mbox) will be in Sound & Voice Playback

But Not In Recording? (Sound&Voice)

And onthe 1st tab Volume it says "No Audio Device"

did you install the asio and wave drivers? It isn't necessary to set this up in the control panel to record into PT software

i thought it did that automaticly? yea i get sound but no windows sounds?

and whut is firmware? i looked it up in the manual and all it said was how 2 update it? sorry new 2 all this
