The one I got runs 500W and I probably have less than 100 going into it.

The cycles shouldn't affect the 60 at all, they dnt derive their timing from the mains power, it would suck if it did!!

Mos def get one with a higher wattage. I use a 2000 watt transformer for my American gear over here and it handles it all. It just gives off an annoying buzzing hum. I put it on a piece of thick foam to deaden the hum noize.

Nah dude, those things don't push voltage, they let machines pull it from them, so it's got it to give, so the 60 will only take what it needs.

I have a 500W one, it was the only one I could find when I needed it.

aight cool... yea i just talked to the dude cuz i was gonna switch down to a 200.. but he said stick with the 500 just to make sure and its only like a 10-15 dollar difference anyway..
