cant use the DEMO song but you can use the ARPGIOS which is pretty much a preset pattern. The motif has a lot of arps and I try not to use them but once in a while I will although I tweak them dramatically.

Arpeggio is not a sequence, it is derived from the note you play or just hold down, it is a pattern, but more of an algorhythm.

I think Swizz uses MPC 4000 and a Motif and maybe a Roland MV 5080.
He used to use a MPC 3000 and a Trinity. I'm not a big fan ,but the Kids
and the Streets love it :!: So who I am I to Knock it??

Yea... he used the "brass section" phrase demo off a roland board. I'm not sure which one, but I have the same phrase demo on my XV5050. It was on that Drag-on song feat. Juvenile, I forgot the name of it. But it was a straight jack, I don't respect that.

"Do ya'll niccas bust ya guns? Hell yeah we bust our guns!"
You mean that one? That is a banger. Drag killed that joint.
Those horns are ill.

i thougt it was yamaha that sued him for a demo from the keyboard. cant remember what song it was but i think it was off dmx's first album. but then again u maybe right about the jv1010.

definitely a Roland preset...I have an XV 3080 & you'll get the same phrase if u choose a horn sample.

Theres a standard function on most roland synths that enables you to hear how a selected prset will sound when played as a Phrase....

Swizz caught heat from Roland for using one of these 'Phrasings' from a Horn Preset on a tune i think is called 'Ruff riders Anthem'!!!

Usually, you'll hear presets in Phrase mode when you push in o de-press the Volume knob!!!
