My First day was a bit of a bugger really; First I had to download the maual fro mthe web because mine was in german (I bought an "as new" one for 500£), then I had to go and buy a new Power supply, then , I had to pillage my cable boxes for cables to hook it up to my Amp.

After that, I swiftly learnt how to load a sample, assign it to a pad, and then how to record.

Now I'm experimenting with sampling from my decks, and waiting for my zip drive to arrive!!

that story was crazy.

Guitar Center is only cool because they are conveniently located everywhere…and they have stuff if you know what you’re looking for. BUT YES..many a time some guitar center salesman tried to sell me some sh*t that I just did not need, or that was not compatible with other equipment that I had. This is HORRIBLE for people who have money, are genuinely interested in producing..but don’t know what to get. They’ll get you ..quick.

from experience...
