???Loop Question???

On 2000XL I loaded up this sample off a sample CD and everytime I hit the pad the sample would start over without layering on top of each other and I was wondering how do I do this with my samples? Normally, I keep my finger on the pad until the sample plays. I know how to make the sample play by hitting the pad once but I don't want the sample to overlap? I hope this isn't confusing!

Push shift + 6. Hit the pad. Go to the right corner in the bottum using the cursor. It probably says Poly. Turn the datawheel and you can choose mono (your choise) and note off. Hope it helps. PF
