MPC 2000 XL ZIP DISK Programming

Hello everyone,
I have used MPC Editor to create a kit. So I have 1 folder called 'New Kit' and then in that folder I have 16 .wav samples and a file called 'New Kit.pgm' I have burned this kit to a CD and it works fine in my MPC 2000 XL when reading from my external CD drive.

I want to send a friend this kit but his MPC 2000 XL only has a 100 MB Zip Drive. This is my question. If I copy this kit over to my Zip Drive on my PC and put it on a 100 MB Zip Drive will my friend be able to read the kit?

it should work fine, unless your files are more then 100MB... which they shouldnt be with only 16 wavs, but its possible

Format your PC zip fat16, use character names less than 8 characters and you should be fine. He should be able to read it with no problems at all.

Appreciate the help. Sorry I forgot to ask is there any special formatting that I need to do to the blank 100 MB zip disk before I copy over the kit?
