EMFinite your beat is in .cda format. I can't play that on my pc...can you convert it to mp3.

see i dont have the net on my studio computer. i use it strictly for my studio.

so i saved it in mp3 format and burned it to a cd.

brought it on yousend and it worked for me.

right now im try to figure out how to make the cd a file and then try to convert again.

Whatever computer you are loading it onto yousendit with, use that computer to convert the song to mp3. I think every time you burn it to cd it converts to a cda file.

a cda is like a reference to what the file on a cd. Its not the audio, just like a header to say its track one on the cd. U need to get an mp3 ripper. www.itunes.com is a good one. Goto options and just set it up for importing and turing it to an mp3.

This is all confusion.....there should have been 2 threads.....1: for posting beats only that's it nothing more....no responses etc. and then 2: for posting your vote after all the beats are posted.....the thread should've been locked after a certain period....but we need to find someone to do so....ahhhh darn it's really not that difficult to get this thing crackin'.....once we do we can really build up on it....and it'll be interesting and fun for all of us you'll see.....

oh and a 3rd thread can be created for speaking and commenting on the material posted during the battle.....make sense? We need to keep this really organized.....since it's a community battle.....

nah keep it rolling. no money, post up, get heard get voten on. One vote each. Also, the polling system here is weak since you can get other accoutns to vote for yourself or whatevr, no doubt philly would do that, I think we shouldn't use the poles but everyone voice who they thought won.

There should be a tread where people post up ONE BEAT and no comments like drumatic said, then a voting thread based on those beats. One vote each, everyone just says the name of the person, leave the why's for later, keep people guessing until the voting is done, then discuss, otherwise it just gets messy.

beat battles are always gay, get used to it or abandon the whole proposition
