drums sound better...

out of the main outs instead of the output expander board why is this?

you have to assign the sounds to which outputs u want which pads or drum programs to come out of...

how is that Mark?

for me i really dont notice a difference. maybe cuz both ways are hooked into my mixer desk.

For me, it sounds way better and louder via the 8 outs...

i get the nicest sounding output from the spdif output. i can get it sounding nice and clean thru the 8 outs and into the desk. but thers something about the sheen the spdif out gives the samples when i send the stereo mix outta the spdif.

Have anybody notice a diff. between the MUTEC & other board (with the RCA S/P DIF)?
Anybody try both?
I use the MUTEC's one ( with the jack S/PDif) and for me the 8 out sounds louder.
But the S/PDIF isn't tht cool for me...

I Noticed that You have to turn the volume a bit Up.. when using the 8 Outputs....

Yep the Mutec is the same volume as the stereo outs all maxed
