That Technics mixer is unstoppable...I've had mine for 6-7 years now...still buttery...I've had to change the fader 6 times though...Its got a clean design.

Just to give you guys a recap about whats going on in this picture. This picture was taken way back in the day- about 5+ years ago, maybe longer! He was sitting in his favorite recording room, "studio B" at D&D STUDIOS where he createded all of his classics such as "Kick in the Door," "N.Y. State of Mind" and others. In the picture you may find a couple of simple but powerful weapons Primo has always used over the years; his ONLY weapons of choice are only two oldschool joints by the way: the (1)Akai MPC-60II which he used as his sequencer to trigger his deadly drums and bassliness from the (2)Akai S-950 sampler. Yes, thats all he ever used on all those hot tracks he ever put out and nothing more. As for the extra gear like the Emu-MoPhat sound modual, he uses it here and there to add those lazer effects sounds that you been hearing since the Royce Da 5'9" "Boom" classic track. And the Technics mixer used for scratches - he shares with everyone else at D&D STUDIOS like: DJ Evil D, Tony Touch and so. The mixing console -thats an old MCI-mixing board. Everything else in that room he dont use, maybe a back sofa seat where we all chill blazing natures finest!
