MPC 1000 with ProTools LE SYNC Problem

1. I have a midi track with a 8 bar sequence on Protools
2. I have a 8 bar drum pattern on a sequence on the MPC1000.
3. Protools is master and mpc is slave.
4. No problem syncing
5. I setup Protools to loop bars 1 thru 8
6. MPC will play the 8 bars sync but once Protools restarts back to bar 1 the MPC stops playing.

Can anyone tell me if this is a bug or a config not configured correctly?Please remember that the SYNC will not work when I have PTLE to loop for the 8 bars. Strange!! I am running OS 1.07 and PTLE 6.9.

Pro tools doesn't send track position info to the MPC, just tempo data and stop/start pretty much. If you want the MPC to loop you've got to turn looping on on the MPC sequence.

If protool is master then should that not be set to loop?

MPC is setup to loop 2 bars and Protools is setup to loop 2 bars.
