Possible to hook external HD to the 1k???

Hello people,i got a quick question.has anyone ever tried to hook up an external hard drive to the MPC 1000,i think i read somewhere that the 4000 cud do that but neva confimed if the 1k cud do it too.
Its USB like the 4k so any light on this would be appreciated.

No you cant because the MPC 1000 doesnt have host capability. But you could get a 2 GB Compact flash card though

i was thinking about getting the Magicstor 2.2gig CF card cuz they are compatable with the MPC1k, and they cost the same price as a regular 1gig CF.

Ey no prob but where do you get those Magicstor cards? And isnt 2,2 GB cards, of the CF II-standard? Does the MPC accept cards from the CF II-standard?
