hahaha this thread turned pretty funny. I like that smurf and sounds for samplers line too. Very creative.

BTW I do have experience with the 60. I made beats on a 60 that was non-upgraded. I've also owned a 4k for almost a year. I had the choice of getting any mpc I wanted including the 60 the 3000 the 2xl, even going back to the 4k. I even had a chance to get an asr 10, or even a sp 1200, but you know what? I chose the 1k and I don't regret it one bit.

It's funny that you can look at the color of something and call it wack when it's wayyyyyyyyy more advanced than the machines you rock. Not only that but the beats most of ya'll make are so outdated in style and don't even come close to the beats that ya'll are trying to copy. Face it...ya'll didn't buy your antiquated machines for what it could do. Ya'll bought it because you wanted to sound like your favourite producer. I was faced with that dilemma but ultimately went with the machine that was better for me. Seriously...there is nothing so great or out of reach about these older MPC's. All the mpc's are about in the same price range. Maybe $500 to $1000 is the biggest gap in pricing. When building a studio and investing in this music shit it's peanuts. Ya'll are truly bugging about this jealousy tip. You dudes really got nothing special. You need to get off it. losers.

As far as sounds for samplers drums...you ain't hurting me homo. Most songs made today are done with drums like that. I also have a good collection of vinyl and breaks that I've built up in case I want to flip that style, which I can. It's called versatility. Look into it. Oh I forgot..ya'll don't know about that. Ya'll are stuck on replicated the 90's, and doing a half ass job of it at that too. I bet if someone took a neptunes joint and recorded it in a 950 I bet ya'll would think it was dope and give it props. Cause most of the time just as long as it has the 12 bit grit ya'll are dropping loads in your pants even if the beat is wack as hell.

As far as bein illogical...I think Lo Fi...Or Lo Intelligence is about the biggest retard in this forum. You wouldn't know logic or truth if it hit you in the face cause your just a sh!t talking lame. Get a life Spock.

And Mellow Dramatic...how is it that only Pete Rock comes with those particular hats when the sp 1200 has been used by sooo many producers? By product of sp1200 I think not. By product of your lame ass trying to bite and play it off by saying "any similarities are non-intentional".....B!tch please...who are you fooling? Maybe only yourself. And last time I checked the sp 1200 didn't come with any internal sounds and they sure don't make the sequences for you...you gotta program that yourself and sample your own sounds. Chill holmes....I was trying to justify the quality of the machinary.....these dudes up here talking smack saying we use the machines because Pete Rock appeared on the back of my Elemental magazine cheesing up a storm with a 2000 glued to his knee. I don't think so my man. I use the mpc-60 because I believe it to be a worthy piece of production equipment and i'm saying is it's backed by excellence. I also use the 60 and the 1200 and the 950 because they're crazy powerful filters, sample engines and production pieces and they sh!t all over this modern technological advancement type cutting edge made in china or whatever 3rd world oompa loompa lookin romper room gear.

Yeah I still wear my dunks and drink my gatorade cus one day i'm a be like mike.
