I was thinking....

So...i've owned an MPC 2000xl for about 4 years now. I'm very comfortable on it (know it in and out)...now i'm hearing alot of good things about this 1000. If I swapped my 2000xl for a 1000...do you guys think that would be a upgrade or a downgrade..?

both.

Downgrade because then you will not have 8 outputs, timestretch, or zoning, bigger pads.

Upgrade because newer technology. Holds more memory. storing on cf is better, more portable, onboard effects.

no TIMESTRETCH??? I had no clue...maybe i'll just keep the 2000xl and buy a 1000 any way, because i travel alot with the xl, but it's huge...
