mpc 1000 remove factory settings

How do you remove the factory settings and sounds (demo) off the machine?

u turn off autoload to stop them loading at start up

press the orange flashy button somewhere on the load page

if you want to delete them you save over them with nothing i believe

there is a way

To turn off autoload from Flash memory, go to LOAD, highlight the 'from' field, press WINDOW and set autoload to OFF. This is in the manual - look up autoload in the index.

To delete the sounds from Flash memory, just turn on the MPC and save entire memory to internal memory

do a search for all of my posts. i've written about this several times in great detail. it's what i've done. when i turn mine on, it's totally blank. i don't have to load a blank project or anything. when i turn it on, there is no demo songs, seqs, pgm's or anything. it's totally blank
