Hi everyone...

i've searched but not really found the answers that im looking for...

I have a 2000xl which im selling to buy a 3000le (oooohhhh yyeeeaaah!)

All my beats are on zip from the 2000 saved as .APS and .ALL files. I read that there may be trouble with the 3000 loading these??? But from what i read, it seemed like it was only the note variation data that was lost in the transfer process????

is this correct?
Will i be able to load APS/PRG/ALL files which i have made on my 2000, onto the 3000?

Can someone please help cuz i need to start backing up/resaving beats to files that will be loaded on the 3000 asap!

Thanks

DJF

..just curious, a cat I just got a 60 off gave me a call and said he's selling a real clean 3000 classic with a built-in 100mb zip drive for $1400!!. A little pricy, but not really with the zip drive on board.

Anyway, the cat was headed out of the states for Germany, if he didn't sell it yet, that means he is out there or on his way to your vicinity. I'll give you his email info if you are interested. And in any case I'd say cop a 3000 classic, unless you are getting a supreme deal them LE's are overpriced IMO. Either way good move the 3000's sound better than 2000's and XL's IMO.

Hey Cheers for the tip for the dude movin 2 germany, however, im gettin a nice deal on an LE so im cool!

Im jus reading the mpc3000 manual and it says that it can read APS and ALL files....So do i have nothing to worry about? Should all my beats (from my 2000 zips) load into the 3000 no probs? Am i worrying over nothing?

Cheers,

Dan

2000 and 2000XL ALL, APS, PGM, PAR and SND do not load on an MPC3000.
