Help!!

Got my self an mpc2000 but have no disk or nothing with it, just the machine its self. Can somebody tell me wat i need and where i can get it

You need a record player. I'm sure somebody in your family probably still has one. You need floppy disks or a zip drive with zip disks. Whichever you prefer. But the most important piece of equipment you need is records.

if you have a 2k you need the OS on a floppy (or zip) to start up the machine. the latest OS can be found at http://www.forat.com/service/ , its under the XL and above the 60. unzip it and put it on a disk. next thing you need is a turntable, records, a pair or headphones AND cables.

I have sounds been samplin and usin programmes on me pc fer years now. Can i just put beats loops etc onto a disk and use on mpc?

yeah, i think a 2k can read .wav, but you cant put them in folders, check te manual on how to do this, i think its somewhere in the back
