programs on the 3000

Hey,

am i right in thinking that a sequence can only use one program at a time????

Say for instance i have a program of drums, and another of samples, is there no way in having track 1 play the drums and then track 2 playing a different program (with the samples)??

Or is the only way around this to assign every sample i use for a beat into one program???

The MPC3000 is not multitimbral.

Neither is the MPC60.

Neither machines work per your requirment above.

So... with that in mind.

Build a custom program that suits your sequence needs... then get on with it.
