how long did it take you to learn adobe premiere? I've been messin' around with video editin' myself but damn, there's a lot to know...

I study film production, so I picked up some of that there.
Premiere is pretty basic in terms of editing and the lay out is rather logical therefore you can get around easily.
It takes a little time to feel comfy on it, but once you master how to capture, organize your material and shoot properly , you end up having more and more fun. What I suggest doing is make yourself little clips every couple of days. No story or with story, just to get you use to editing . You will eventually find your style and rhythm. There is a lot of rules that apply to proper editing, but for starters do not go crazy with that. Slowly things will become easy. Google is a good teacher as well.

good luck.

i'm not going to repeat the obvious and what was already said.... i just want to add my 2cents, going along the lines of double time and slow motion... it would have been good to bring the speed back to real time for a couple of hits on the pads (showing your hands hitting the pads) in sync with the music being played in the backround then sped back up to continue with the vid. just a thought

Yo that beat was nice....The only reason the drums were kinda wack is because they were weak....Add some EQ and such and that track is done, nice work!!!!
