Hey guys,
Can anyone help. I've got the new Roger Linn 3.10 software put in my 60 but my drive went down. I had a replacement drive from AKAI put in. it works with my older disks but doesn't recognize the newer stuff(ie 3.10 samples). Any ideas?. thanks,
bl

Using DD right?

I am assuming the disks are DD. One came with the Linn 3.10 software by a company called MIDI MARK which has no markings but says it's a V3.10 sound disk. My older disks which are DD seem to work okay.

im having a similar problem... i just installed OS version 3.10e and the Marion Systems SCSI board... i do not yet have a zip drive installed because the SCSI cable i was sent with the drive that i bought is a 25 pin to 50 pin, and the zip drive AND the MPC both have 25 pin connections! well the problem isnt with the SCSI(so far..) it seems that the floppy drive does not read or detect floppy disks since the upgrade!! does the SCSI board disable the floppy drive??? im using brand new DD disks that i saved to a few days ago before i upgraded, and even tried reformatting these disks but it says that there is no disk in the drive every time! i couldnt even load (or detect for that matter) the floppies that Roger Linn sent with the OS upgrade/SCSI package! i installed the SCSI and OS myself, and i hope i didnt mess up my floppy in the process of upgrading...

make sure you installed the marion board correctly. Double check your work.
