Is it just me or is Blue Box lacking strength/ballz when assigning samples to the banks of pads?
Even though i'm using mpc1000, I downloaded and tried the MPC Editor from midicase and tried loading some samples and the program seems more, how do I put, "windows explorer" based and playing/autoplaying the samples are easier than having to do the ctrl+sample in blue box....
Is there a similar MPC Editor program for the mpc1000?

be careful how you speak about blue box. the writer of that program is a fellow forum'er

but on a serious side, the only problem i have with bluebox (which really isn't a problem) is the refresh rate when scrolling up and down. other than that, that's all i use. and it serves me just fine. been using it ever since he first wrote

Hey yo don't get me wrong, I didnt' put the post up to diss the program, if anything Blue Box simply just makes things easier for mpc users.

I was just curious if people perceived some of the potentially less user friendly features the way I did and if Blue Box is the only editor available for mpc1000 - that's it that's all

I think I know what Tha Saint is referring to. Do you mean that when you first click on the sample, it auditions fairly loud. But when you CTRL+Right Click it's greatly decreased in volume. Is that it? I was wondering about it myself.

Does anyone know how to rectify it? Is there a reset of somesort that will make it the same volume of when it was orginally auditioned?

I agree...I love BlueBox...and I work here!

To the writer: Many Kudos, and thank you!

the program is free! u want suttin to work your way u can either sponser him or make it ya damn self!

lol...

erm...

on the real (which was the real but anyway) i would like to see more automated functions like "select all samples to a mute group" or selected samples, just to make some process more faster, you know stuff like that...

anyway other than I am extremely greatful!! for BlueBox and MPC Editor...it has made life alot easy...

Penfold, Check this.

Select mute group 1 first...then right click...setting...apply to pads...all pads...done.

Blue Box...very cool.

Sacred Lord, I didn't want to open a can of worms here yo, and I aint moaning, some of y'all need to calm down. (hhmmm Penfold). I'm mainly referring to process of choosing your files from drives with ease and auditioning them in general (to answer DrFunk7777)...but will someone answer the question: Is there anything besides Blue Box for the MPC1000?
I'm not saying its not a good program, just checkin options

Yo DrFunk,

Thanks for answering the question, I wasn't sure about the MPC Program Creator as the site stated it was no longer being maintained, im guessing its still a fully functional viable option. I've been using Audacity as well and pretty pleased with it, and the stereoroid site's the bomb
