"dcypher clearly states that the drive is partitioned as a pose to being seen as a 5gb disk - Thats what i meant by no the MPC wont "
It "oppose" not "a pose".
As far as meaning, not according to how I read the thread since you failed to quote anything. Someone asked, does the MPC use all 5 gigs and you said "no". I am not sure how anyone could read anything else into that.
"Thats what i meant by no the MPC wont (see the disk as one)"
I saw nothing in the thread at all about "as one". Why don't you just SAY that instead of allowing some newbie to get the wrong impression?
"for instance, os 1.20 is an improvement on the mpc abilty to recognize larger partitions (ask sir 3000 for the finer details) so I was saying that if for instance with os 1.20 partions of up 2gb can be handled as 1 partition"
Umm, wrong again. I never said anything about 1.20 allowing larger MPC formatted partitions. 1.20 does allow 2 gig single "PC partitons", but the MPC is still limited to <1 Gig multiple MPC formatted partitions.
I am not hear to pick a fight with anyone, even with Bravo, but for the sake of future reference I like to see unquestionably correct information on the forums. Please remember that some people might be reading this have only geen using the Web for less than 24 hours and an MPC for 48.
