There is nothing wrong with finding an album:
for example anything from "brass construction" snaging a snare, kick or whatever...which i luv the mpc for that. and freaking it with a filter or two. and q-sliders, son.... dont overlook them you be suprized at that on the fly ish you can come up with on that. yo. it's all hard work....sometimes you gotta sacrifice that time spent doing things that affect your music from being produced. Hip hop is a way of life.... Trust, take my advise... and make that -ish pop.

make that 1000 dollar investment worth it......

I've tried messing with filters and the slider...but somehow I must be doing something wrong...I dont hear any difference. ps. Sorry bout the double post.

""""""""my advice is record kicks/snares on the same track, copy the track twice and delete kicks/snares respectively. then turn off time correct and then nudge them to a more specific place. record hi hats on a third track.

can't you just copy once and delete one or the other from the original track, or am i missing something?

I'll let you re-read the words you just quoted before I start making fun of you.

go ahead make fun cuz i reread it and it still seems redundant to me, you lay down a track with kicks and snares, copy it once, then you have two tracks with kick and snares, delete kick from one and snares from the other now you have one track with snares, and one with kicks, that's why i said am I missing something.

yeah, I make 1 copy of the original, after deleting I have 2 tracks afterwards, 1 w/ kik and 1 w/ snare on each track.

then I record everything else on it's own track. that's how I've done it for years.
