Here's a couple of photos of my newish studio taken last week.
Yes, the chair cost twice as much as the mixer. So to the guy who was dissing EMFinite way back for spending more on the furniture than mixer, feel free to diss me too for spending more on my chair than the small Behringer desk, which sucks anyway, right? Seriously though, the MPC4000 only has 8 outs + stereo, so I don't need anything bigger than a 12 channel mixer anyway. There's enough extra inputs for the 3x synths etc.
The keyboard slides out. I grabbed the slide out part from an old broken desk. It's great having everything in front of me.
As for the single PC monitor, if I were to use 2 monitors I'd have to spread the speakers further apart which would ruin the accurate stereo imaging. How the music sounds through the speakers is much more important than how much information can be seen on a screen or two. So many people these days seem to forget this and base their studios around computer monitors rather than going for what sounds best.

I think Jimbo was just talking about turning the monitors inward so they directly face your ears. I've got mine setup that way and I notice the difference, though I can't explain what the difference sounds like.
