I'm sick of always seeing something about a 404, MPC2500 or people complaing why they don't have track mutes or this, that or the third. We all know what we were buying when we made our purchases. Get of these boards and go to your MPC and make a F-ing beat. I have seen plenty of hot tracks made with just a 1k so you all know it can be done. Get off your soap boxes and get busy. Most of the machines your fav songs were made with didn't have all the features a 1k has so STOP IT.

look at Bhunt's Avatar thats how I feel. One of the main reasons why I don't hang in the 1k board is b/c of all the complaing about one thing or another.

As much as I can agree with everyone, this thread aint gonna stop anything when the fact remains that there will always be a bunch of newbies that never did their homework prior to buying the 1k. All you can really do is skip the redundant threads or just humor them instead of letting it irritate you.

That is what these forums are for. But ppl need to read the fin manual. When i bought my mpc i read the whole dam thing, and messed around with it, and if i couldn't find it in the manual, then my last resort was to ask. But you have ppl askin question that one couls find in the manual in less than a minute come on now. I have no problems helping ppl. But ppl need to stop lazy azzes and help themselves first. I could of flamed many of a thread as most couls of around here, but chose not too,and chose to let some else do it. READ THE F@#KIN MANUAL. Belive if its not in there you can find it by using the SEARCH function. peace and I'm out.

so true. in fact, i was one of those newbies how didnt do that much research before buying the 1k. then after i ordered it (i know i know) i started looking online and reading morea bout it.... only to see all the posts about what it cant do...

i have found a way around everything that anyone has mentioned, i think... its as powerful as you make it, really.

but mtc sync would have been nice

seriously tho it makes me lots of nice sounds, I made a few tracks just on the 1k!!!! with live audio recorded over the top of the drums, mixed and everything, just exported WAV's and call it a day. This makes cleaner/ better sounding mixes than my cpu with a nice soundcard....try that on a 2000xl.....

"i thought thats what these forums were for? "

People have been making music with lots of different equipment long before forums, MPCs or even the internet.

The forums (and others like it) have become an excuse to "not think".
