How do you make samples unrecognizable?

I eat my samples, then like a cow, minus the multiple stomaches, I throw them up.

i always thought the point of sampling was so that people would recognise the sample but with a different vibe to it.

whats the point of hiding it then? cause the effect that sample had originally would be then taken away, thus taking the essence out of the track.

just sample it ...rags!! cause its costs them to much money to chase you down to how much u will make off it.

I am a heavy sample based producer and i feel no way about it, I'm good at it so I do it!! dont let no make u feel u need to disguise ya sh1t.

though i do encourage creative sampling and manipulation of samples, with borderline disgusing...if u know what i mean.

USE THE SAMPLE, SELL THE BEAT AND LET THE BUYER WORRY ABOUT THE REST.

I usually start with a sample and build around it using my keyboard. THan i take it out and add more stuff to give it a new twist.

Personally, I don't care if a sample is recognizable. As long as I'm happy with the beat I'm good.

Don't be worrying about hiding your samples. Just get creative and make good beats. You could end up trying so hard to disguise your samples that it'll just end up sounding rubbish and you'll lose creativity if you know what I mean, because it may not sound how you really want it.

Basically just have fun making beats, for me that's what it's all about anyway.

I agree just sample and be done with. Let the label deal with it.

do both. You gotta be creative. You gotta use your skills. But it also has to sound good. SOme samples you cant **** with and you shouldnt. Sometimes you only get a note or a hit and need more. Sometimes if you experiment you can find some crazy shit.

basically, use and do what sounds good. Worry about the rest later; But with this said you cant be lazy: Things like not chopping a loop to make it even better........or using the same loops your favorite producers does, or not really making a sample better, constitutes as being lazy.

find your own original sounds, sometimes this involves more work and does involve chopping. Sometimes looping shit is creative enough because no one else would have discovered that loop. Its all relative to the context of the sample and what you do with it.

To me, its about the music and my luv of the artform, not the money aspect of it and what some bullshit ass hole people say about it. Im gonna sample no matter what.

Dont chop just to chop. Dont loop just because youre lazy. And **** worrying about consequences.
