Whats good? I was hoping for someone to help me get passed a little problem I can't seem to get rid of. I'm a newbie but I have read my manual a couple of times and searched this forum for 2 days and couldn't find the answer to this problem.
I'm working with the 2000XL and what I did was sampled an instrumental record 44 bars long and saved it as a sound and a program. I'm familiar with the TRIM mode and screens associated with it as I thought that would be important for me to have good skills in to loop samples tight. My sample is tight, I got it to loop right and it sounds good when I hit the pad.
Now I want to record it and loop it so that I have 88 bars recorded on a sequence and then save it as wav. to the disk so I can take it to my computer, via external zip drive, to burn on cd. I have the tempo set right to match the cliks, I have the bars on 88 b/c thats how long I want to record it, my loop: is on, my timing is 1/16 and my tsig: 4/4.
So I hit the REC and PLAYSTART and hit the pad on time all the way till it got to 88 bars and I pressed stop. The problem is when I playback its only recording 26 bars then the sound dissappears and then loops back at the first bar then plays the loop again all the way to the 26th bar and the sound goes away again. I can't see what I'm doing wrong I hope I was specific enough?
