Recently my sequences have been doing weird things when I let them play for a while. Say if I have sample looping every to bars. After I leave the sequence running for 10 minutes or so, the sample starts playing a little bit later than its supposed to and other times it ends a little earlier. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Does anyone know what the solution could be?

hmmm....maybe your 60 is overheating, could be an erratic metronome?

I noticed sometimes that happens to my 60.....especially when i'm programming drum patterns.....ahhh the joy of aged machinary.

I never had this happen. is the loop in the 60 or in an external sampler?

everyone with a 60 should go to the midi page and select the filter page and scroll to sysex and set it to ignore and also poly pressure and channel pressure set to ignore as well. I don;t think that's your issue, but it needs to be done.

It could be that your tempo is off on the loop and the sequence, it would take a while to notice a slight variation.

The sample is in my s1000.

yeah your loop is off.

it's not the 60.

Naw I really don't think its the loop. Its a four bar sequence. After that same four bar sequence has been playing for a while it start to mess up. I shouldn't have said a little bit later. The loop is stopping a whole 3 beats early. I'm talkin' about the beats that go. 4:01:32,4:01:48..........etc.

is anything in the 60's sampler that is sequenced messing up?

You should turn loop off on the S1000 and make sure that you are triggering the loop at the very start of your sequence and then get it too loop by matching the BPM of the sequence until it loops perfectly, you won;t get the loop slipping if you do it like that.

Seriously, this is user error.
