Playing Piano on the mpc

Hey guys i was wandering if anyone can walk me threw on how i can step up my mpc so that i can record me playing piano on it. Right now i got the outs from my eps to my ins on the mpc but when i go to main screen and start to record i get nothing but when i go into sample i hear me playing the keys. Thanks guys.

if u want to sample your keys into the mpc, then you have the right setup. if u want to record and play your keys on the mainscreen, then you need to setup MIDI.

midi out mpc- midi in eps
midi in eps- midi out mpc

after u have the midi setup like this, you have to go down to drum on the mpc and turn it to midi:1X.

AND to add to this, your EPS mainouts need to go to a mixer so that you can HEAR your playing.

eps to mixer
mpc to mixer.
