problems
The ASR is really a studio machine, which can mean that the OS sometimes pushes the hardware past a safe level. In other words, if you edit while using a lot of MIDI then you can crash the OS with an ?ERROR 144 ? REBOOT?? showing. This is rare, and can be learnt to be avoided.
The machine, no doubt due to the DSP inside, heats up like a frying pan. The surface above the power supply is liable to get to hot to touch if used in an un-air-conditioned room for some time. And I mean you can fry eggs on this baby.
The other major limit is that the machine can only handle eight channels of MIDI, which can leave you wanting.
