I take that just how he said it, keep the music at it's most basic form in case of re-work. ie. a seq in the 2kxl. Save and keep it as that in case you need to touch it up. If you make a complete wave file and ONLY bring that to the studio and they need re-work something then you maybe azzed out. Redoing the seq is easiest.
