Basically My Setup at home is:
HP Computer
Yamaha PSR-275 (MIDI Controller)
Yamaha UX-16 (USB MIDI Interface spefically for the Controller)
Fruityloops 4.
Logic Platinum 5.1
Cubase SX2
Reason 2.5
The main MIDI sequencer used is between reason & cubase.
I'm A Emcee and have been interested in getting a Shuresm58 but in order to use it i'll need to connect it i need a mixer. I Have my eye on a Yamaha MG 12/4.
Now getting to the MPC 1000.
I've been doin some intense research on the MPC1000 and read many posts on this forum and i am interested in getting one as i can use it to program drum patterns and use it as a sampler as well as using it to be making tracks without the use of a computer so i was just wondering if there is any point of purchasing one or i am wasting my time with it?
and if i do purchase it how would i go about connecting it to my pc to use it with MIDI Sequencing Programs? Via the Mixer or by the MIDI IN/MIDI OUT connections Via a MIDI interface to the pc.
I Know this has been asked bare times but i feel i can be guided into the right direction by you MPC1000 Users. Safe
Sagaman.
