Paying Input Over Sequence

Whats up Guys.. One of my fav options on the 60 is that you can play ur sequence while you play your input (Turntables). Usefull cause then I can see/hear what records/samples fit my beat. It's like DJin your own music without the fader. anyway, my question is what other MPC's can do this, I have a 2XL and it doesn't do that (unless not that I know of) Does the 3000 do this?

Sorry if this sounds like a newbie question, I'm going to be trading my 60 and some cash for a 3000.

uh, just connect the main out of your djmixer to your studiomixer, or connect the main out of your mpc to the line of your djmixer... Then you can X-fade your sample & the mpc...

easy as that.

trade your 60 for cash and a 3k? If thats true dude must be stupid as hell. If I were you I'd do it. You can always sell the 3k for over a G and cop a 60 again PLUS have cash to max it out / get a costom painjob.

I'm surprised...you guys really believe a 60 is equal to a 3000. I love the 12 bit gritty sound, but the 3000 is a jax'd up version of the 60!

c.toon, thanks for the response. I know I can do a round about way of doing it, but if I'm on the road, I can't bring my whole studio along with me. I was just wondering if the 3000 alone had that feature. thats all. read a little closer to what I'm asking next time

blunt: no it cant do that.

You can always bring a small DJ mixer which you will probably need unless youre sampling from a portable turntable anyways.

Ur wishing for too much, it wasn't designed for that.

I probably am...I just wanted to know if it did it or not, since the 60 did. Just one of those things thats not in the manual u know

yes they all should if you mean the sample input, just turn monitor on.

the 60 also has the mix in jack tho, which might be what you mean. yes the 3000 can do it.

You guys should be ashamed!!
