45rpm equiavlent

anyone know the mathematical ratio (or percentage) equivalent of speeding up an audio sample from 33.3RPM's to 45RPM's? I'm sampling an mp3, and I what the effect of playing it at 45RPM's just as you would on a turntable. Can this be done on the 2000XL, otherwise, I need a "ratio" to stretch it in Adobe Audition (formerly Cool Edit). thanks.

you dont need to timestretch it - youre turntable wont (well most dont anyway!)

you need to adjust the pitch. Make a loop of your sample so you can see the BPM its currently at (trim/program) then its time to use your fingers and toes. Dive the BPM by 33 then times by 45 easy

ie 100bpm@33rpm / 33 x 45 = 136.4bpm@45rpm
