The orange tape was on a lot of the pieces because when I go play gigs..it's only live, no dj'ing. Have to be able to see my notes about patterns scribbled all over stuff. That color is the best in the dark club/bar/basement.

I'm thinking of getting one to hook up my MPC to my pc with MIDI and record other stuff with it

The Tascam is the shit man.

I would really suggest getting one, it will simplify your recording big time.

Luckily I found one that was a return and the guy at guitarcenter gave it to me for 70 bucks.

I couldnt pass it up.

sparq... the Vestax QFO is nice...its a bit overpriced(luckily I didn't pay ALOT for it)...I just use it to lay scratch tracks over beats, sample stuff into the MPC, and to practice some scratch patterns....it stays in the studio...

Just updated the lab a little over the last couple of weeks. If you guys didn't know, I was dumb one day and got rid of the motif es 6. I know, stupid, but I will be making a good move really soon.
