After a while of using mine with lines running thrugh it, it crapped out on me. The screen was somewhat visible, but it wouldn't let me load my samples. I fixed the screen and that solved the problem. So eventually you will have to fix it. Best just get it out of the way and do it on your own terms.
I never leave mine on anymore.
