another question

I am trying to sample drums from ensoniq asr 10 keyboard, and when I sample a kick I get a loud pop sound that should not be there. I have tried to adjust the level meter and threshold and that does not work either. What is tyhe problem and how do I fix it?

loud pops and clicks come from sudden sharp increase or drops in the wave.

use an envelope to smoothly ramp up or down at start and end.
