Ok i got this question

ok well i don't have to much money but i want a mpc i don't like softwear and im 16 and i work at calrs jr and goto high school so that said...

i would liek to get a mpc im not sure which one i was aiming at 2500 but it will take me a very long time befor i can affored that cuz my setup is a turntable some records and my mpc and my radium 49 with prob a x rack

so do u guys think i should save up the money for the 2500 is it worth it or should i go for another mpc?

go with whatever you can afford. just because the 2500 is out doesnt mean its the best. look on ebay or guitar center for a good price. i would suggest the mpc2000xl but that's just my preference. if you can't afford it, use the software you have until you get an mpc. stay productive with whatever you have.

You should buy at least 5 MPC3000s. This is how Dr. Dre does it.

first off welcome to the boards.

second, if you haven't did your own homework to find out the differences in the mpc's, which one fits your budget, and production style that you want then you r lost my friend. Go do your homework cause no ones wants to do your homework for you. no one knows which mpc will fit your needs but you.

thanks lamp i did my research aleady and i have decided to go with the mpc 1000 fits my budget and does what i need and that will be good cuz al have more money to buy my turntable and ome other hardwear thanks lamp

You really need to get more info kid, first your aiming at the 2500, then you ask what else to buy when you get a 2000xl.. now u want a 1000.

you really have to take it one step at a time... is buying an mpc really what you wanna do? or are you just doin it for the heck of it?
u relaly have to sit down and think.. cuz no offense bro... you dont knwo what you want... i used to be the same b4 i started djing... after thinking it out i knew exactly what i wanted to do ... all you need is patience and money and a shit load of info

so in conclusion... have some patience... maybe an mpc isnt what ure lookin for... maybe your gettin an mpc for the shit of it... im about to get mine.. but it took me a long time to save up and a long time to decide that the mpc is the next level for me

Sounds like a good plan, fits your budget and does what you need (did you check the manual for the features it includes and if they fit your production style?) Any MPC is a good choice though, they all have strong and weak points. I'd say way more strong than weak though. Ultimately it is up to you though..
