HELP WITH MPC2000

I have been watching a video tutorial.

the person is chopping a sample in the TRIM function

he then sets the number of zones
on my MPC2000 it doesnt allow me to pick the number of zones

so can i highlight the parts of the sample i want in the TRIM
and assign each of them to the pads i want

HOW DO I DO THAT????

Cause that's an Xl feature.

Are you sure you weren't watching the 2000xl video? It's a little different from the old classic 2k, the zone edit options aren't the same...

could you please tell me where you found that video tutorial?
