do you guys find it easy or hard to sequence melodies i=on the mpc?
i do alot of keyboard beats i know the mpc dosent have a step sequencer so how do i just keep adding on new sequences or new adds on over the original melody or original sequence?

song mode? :idea: :?

right on

what about quantizing considering there isnt a step sequencer do you pretty much get a feel for the right sound placement with half note quantize or just turn it off?

1. The MPC does have a step sequencer....
2. Sequencing MIDI devices is what it's made to do...
3. It does what it's made to do quite well!

Have you tried recording the same sequence on a different MIDI type track?

lol lamp im finding my way in and out of the 4000 :D
now that i dled the manual im getting alot more info.
i was working with no manual and no pdf support earlier :cry:
