MPC 2000XL SE1

Hey,

A friend has an MPC 2000xl SE1 mint with 8 outs for 850.00. I have an MPC 2000xl white but I use it live alot and wanted another MPC Strictly for the studio. I had contemplated getting an MPC 1000 because I heard you can load 2000xl programs onto it. Has anyone ever loaded 1000 stuff on a 2000xl without issues? Also at this price I think getting another 2000xl might be a better option, any opinions or experiences one might want to share?

Go with the one that suits your needs.

I've never used the 1000 or the 2kxl but i have the 2k and i love it.If it were me i would go with the Xl but that would be the one best suited for me.

why not investigate a rack sampler to use in conjuction with the mpc for studio/live.
