ive sampled a break, then looped it so its in time as a sample

after that i wanted to like lay it down as the main drum loop/beat for a track but cant seem to put this into a sequence in correct time, ive tried the time stretch like it says in the manual but it aint playing ball?? wondering if anyone can give me a tip on this?

before time stretching it you want to mess with bpm of the sequence till it loops seemless...sometimes the loops drum hits wont be exactly on the click of the metronome as they will speed up or slow down according to the timing of the drummer playing on your sample especially if its sampled from a group of musicians (as opposed to sequenced on a drum machine).

thanks very much, ive had a go at it and fiddled with the bpm and got it seemless, like u say it is actually a sample of a band as oppose to a drum machine so it was affected by the how the musicians lay it down-cheers man
