on da real i dont post very much but i read alot of post here and i really want the 1 K forum to go back to the way it was a place Where you could get useful info and such, not to say that its not doing that but you guys need to chill wit the ra ra every damn nite over this OS and who's cock is bigger

if you feel that you have that many problems with akai that you need a thread to vent, just sell all of your akai gear and you won't have to worry about akai anymore. if it's to complain about the 1k os, no one still haven't told me where akai officially promised anything more than what the original 1k can do. as far as the blk 1k, and why it's still not released in more places than japan, again, that's akai's M.O. to start selling in japan b4 anyplace else. that's how akai has done with all of their products. i've never known akai to have simultaneous release dates for both here and in japan.

I had my MPC 1k on Ebay last October when you dropped the news about OS2. So I stopped the auction and kept it. Since then we've been waiting for the OS drop. First it was going to be the first week of November. Then it was the first week of December. And we're still waiting for it and we keep getting told to check the site in the next couple weeks and we might like what we see, etc. So I'd say that's a good reason to be pissed. If AKAI was a little more straight forward and said it would be out sometime early 2006 I think that would have kept people more chill.

ok, i feel you on that. so why doesn't anyone call akai. and i'm not just talking about speaking to a sean shay type of person. i mean call them and ask to speak to a supervisor and then ask to speak to that person's supervisor. keep going until you finally speak to someone about the situation.

venting on here is getting nothing accomplished and in turn will eventually bring the integrity of this site down. i know if i'm looking for a forum or message board and came across this site and read all the bickering and bitching, i wouldn't want to join and would think this site has nothing but immature babies on it. when i did join back in 2004, it was nothing like this. even in the 4k section where they were promised shiz from the gate (when it was released back in 2002) and they just recently got. it was nowhere near to what the 1k section is now.

if someone in US could do that about the pads issue i would love to hear the outcome..
even the Akai distributor here in Australia admit there are issues with the pads and asked me to "wait till after Namm" for a solution (they didn't suggest I contact VST in USA)

I CALLED SEAN AND LEFT HIM A MESSAGE... if you really care leave him one to or tlak to him whens he's at work tommorow.. Goto the Akai site, get the number, get into the Akai directory, press S, click 1 till Sheans voice mail pops up, leave him a message.

For the people backing up something you don't even have (2.0), and perpetrating people becuase they care, causing internet drama, being E-THUGS... stfu
