effects board

anyone sellin an effects board for their 2000xl if they have a broken one?

i didnt know the 2000XL didnt have effects like compressor reverb n stuff. kinda sucks on my behalf.

Yeah I bought mine and the effects board the same day.
I already knew I'd need it.

Where can one buy the effects board? Guitar Center or Sam Ash? and how much do they go for, I dont wanna get ripped off.

yeah g.c. and sam ash should have them.i THINK they are around 300 bucks but i could be wrong.they are very clean effects as well.

dont forget ebay....also the eb16 doesnt have a compressor

If you apply an effect to a sound and the assign that sound w/effect on it to one of the 8 outs, Is the effect still on the sound when it's assigned out?

i think the effect is still on the sound but you can select outputs for the wet signal too, if i remember it correctly..

you need to assign the fx output to say 1/2, or your fx return will still be coming out the stereo outs.
