couple questions i hope someone can help me with. i'm new to this -- please bear with.
1 -- how do you do a note repeat? -- as in drum roll -- make one pad play the same hit repeatedly by hitting it once?
2 -- say i make a sequence and i love every bit of it cept one stupid kick isn't hitting just right no matter what i put the timing at -- how do i just "nudge" the note a bit to get rockin onto the beat the way i want it to sway?
any wisdom will be thoroughly salivated over. thanks. rock on. peace.

To answer your note repeat question there's two ways to do this. You can hold down the note repeat and the pad you wish to roll at the same time. To get that roll effect you will probably want to use the 1/16th setting. The other way is to press shift and note repeat together to lock it on. this way until you hit stop it is already set. Note to use either way you need to have your timing set to at least 1/8th. As for your second question I don't use the step edit mode so I can't help you there but that's where you wana focus your attention. However I can add a tip. When you set your tempo try using the half mark of a tempo. Example: 90.5 ninety and a half bpm. This could help you in laying that kick as well. Good luck!

you could go into step edit and find that bass hit and move it to where you want it
