i need help understanding swing and stuff like that.

is there any basic tips i can get?

im using the 4000.

It puts like a bounce on your notes. Try it out. Make a basic drum pattern. Record it with no swing or 50% Now go on a free track. Change your swing percentage to 75% hold note repeat and play the highhat. Hear that? SWING BABY

music theory is a essential i didnt buy the book just to learn swing i orderd the book to get more advanced in music theory :D

enter the TC menu and hold the note repeat on a short sample while adjusting the swing value on 1/16. you'll hear the the beat changeinge to swing in realtime.
