Dude said $1500-2000, that won't cover all that in a quality way.
Since he has a budget go with what Lamp said.
If you wait to find a purpose, you won't waste the budget on something that will prevent you from having the funds for something you really need.
There's lots of stuff out there and people who own lots of gear, but most of it is wasted or not really necessary.
If you are getting paid for your work then buy whatever catches your eye, if you aren't then make the $$$$ stay functional so that it can get you to making money.
Being deep on the MPC and Fantom will be a bigger benefit than having more gear, until your needs grow.
