Sample Cut-off or Cancelling on Recording (with Metronome)

i seem to get a sample cut-off problem when recording a beat.

it only happens sometimes though.

basically the first drum hit (i.e. the Kick drum) does not Sound out (its like its been cancelled out).

on play back it plays fine and all samples are present.

THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN ON THE 2000XL ??ASK ME I OWN ONE AND GOT MY CASH BACK FOR THE 1000 WAIT TO YOU SEE WHAT ELSE THE 1000 CAN'T PERFORM. AND TO THINK YOU POSTED THE 1000 IS BETTER !!YOUR SO TRUTHFUL IN YOUR POST ABOUT THAT MACHINE EVERY ONES SO CALLED GURU-ISM SHOULD BE TAKEN WITH A GRAIN OF SALT BECAUSE SOME OF
THE POST PROVE THAT ALOT OF PEOPLE HERE JUST WANT TO SOUND LIKE THEY REALLY KNOW THERE sH*T AND DONT KNOW A MIDI CORD FROM A QUARTER INCH,

can someone get rid of this guy? it seems like everytime he is exposed he pops up with a new name. all he is doing is trying to bug us, nothing more.

Roop,
try triggering the sample rec by hand instead of via the auto way (if that's what you do)
my 2000 used to do that all the time. then I started changing the sample time to like 10 sec and then start time by hand.
